Hi,
is it possible to extract the single wavs out of a gigasampler format? Or convert it directly to a Kontakt format?
I´ve never used or seen Gigasampler files before.

Yes Chris...
Import the gigafile with exs24, it will create all the wav files you need, nicely named...
Or, get CDXtract and convert to AkaiS5000, will create all files, including stereo files

Kontakt can convert Giga files directly.
So there is no need to go thru any extra steps.
At least not if you are only going to use them in Kontakt.

Superb Jupiter, I will try this first, 20 percent more to go on a 630MB Grand Piano download.
Thanks for the fast response.

he, he, don't expect too much, chris

kontakt can konvert giga teoreticly, but in the many casses sounds like shit! same thing is with hallion (even with 2.0).
no problem with small programs, but try to convert giga's pianos and you will see/hear?!
giga still have no real alternative!!

I convert the Maestro Concert Piano 630MB in size, perfect.
No bad noise or other errors.

it's possible, but did you make comparison with the same sounds in giga format?!
uf, this is hard to explain on english to me. no problem with samples converting, but with way how hallion or kontakt made layers.
i will show you when you come here this summer
