Well, if you believe that the problem was caused by the delay between Noah manufacturing and software implementation then that's not so bad.
But it certainly indicates very slim operating margins.
Let's hope Noah is a success.

Sounds scarier than they want to let on, if you ask me.
I don't like the sound of it at all - their life hangs in the balance of jerky lawyers - I would never want MY life in that position !

Having worked for the past 20 years for Fortune 500 companies, I can tell you that these things sound worse on paper than they usually are in actual life. In most cases, companies come out of these things positioned stronger than ever and with renewed vigor.
The fact that CW has survived this long is a testament to their resolve. Bigger companies have fallen by the wayside or been swallowed up and spit out by competitors, that's for sure.
It takes a considerable amount of working capital to tool up a new design like Noah. Noah looks like a cool product and I'm sure once they get the sales momentum going, they'll do just fine.

Yes.. fingers crossed indeed..
I really love creamware stuff...as we all do. I guess we should try to contribute more with creamware.., in what way?..well, we can try promote the platform, their benefits...., in other words try to become a more supportive clients base. I'll try to promote CW stuff on my studio website. If you are in the studio business the last you want is competition, but we can say to our customers.."..hey!.. you like my synth stuff?.. well now you can have it instead of owning all this gear..just buy a NOAH!.. and keep coming back to record".

guys may i remind you alessis had the same thing last year becouse of "Andromeda" and they have pulled off successfully! 
I'm told that creamwares condition isnt so bad, and that they are pretty confident they can arise the dificulties.
so im optimistic. i know sfp will live on along time from now..

Besides, they said that Noah has been generating "respectable" sales, so I think they'll get back into the black pretty soon. This is a just a temporary procedure.

as a 'limited' company they can't be taken over. But hopefully the top Dog doesn't get one of those offers you can't refuse... 
One can estimate at least 300k € cost in personal alone per month plus facilities and supplier bills. This can add up significantly in a rather short time.

55 employees.a very small company.the developement of a new synth is expensive.this would be typical,to restructure debt until cash flow improves(they've been spendind lots on tooling and advertising and buying parts,etc.).as long as noah DOES sell at least "respectably"(not too good,not too bad),it's all good and they'll sell some.........at least they acknowledged it and are not trying to hide it.that's a good move.rumours have been flying.

this, for me, is a good incentive to buy modular 3 and flexor... i hope to have some money left when flexor will be out...

If Flexor is in the CW shop it is part profit for them too, yes ? So CW is helped a little perhaps. But what are you "recalculating" ?

i think that if CW is really in debt, his customers should care for it and help by buying something in the online shop... but this is not straightforward, because i (we) don't have a lot of money for music...On 2003-06-06 06:21, ReD_MuZe wrote:

Noah is a great addition to CW's product line and I hope that it will be a good sell.
I hope CW's situation will not further delay improvements to SFP or delay developments to nexgen SCOPE DSPs...
