The best way to aid recovery from depression is to write music. The worst would be if you couldn't even do this - that would be really really nastily depressing - so it must be a good sign of recovery

Any reason ? Or one of those God everything feels cold things ?

Beautiful music, BTW. Very melancholic, but there's a hint of resigned calm in there too. Some sort of harmony within disharmony . . .

No criticism . . . hope you are well

Will.

The file doesn't stream right Srigi, at least with me, but I normaly have no problems with that.
Every few seconds the sound stops, then it starts again.
Can anybody confirm this, or is it just me?

Simply beautiful work. Love the cut-up guitar around 3:15.

Steaming was a problem with this track by the way. I got to listen to it properly by downloading it. Server problems?

Paul, did you mean "streaming" instead of "steaming"? Total funny mistake!
Btw, I yearn the day when I can stream a mp3-track. With my poor analog modem it's not possible, only downloading.
But in July I move to another town. There I want DSL. I'm expecting golden times ...

Pretty nice song. I liked the guitar sound alot, specialy with the flanger/phaser(?) effect. Nice feel. The guitar is pretty well played, and a love the sound you choosed for percussion part. I found that the mix a very pleasant balance of timbres.

BTW people, why it's difficult to download? It is 380K/S mp3 stream (yeah steam... )

This is a beautyful, timeless and unique track. No mainstream hick hack I could hear much feelings in it.

You used the strings very good to build up the track and set your listeners into concentration. At 0.58 the guitar melody comes in and I love it very much, how long you need to complete and record the melody?
Every note is on the right place, great.

1.34 the drums come in on the right place, again and open another dimension to your track, well done.

Around 2.44 the Shaku(?) flute was a surprise for me ,in a good way. The flute transport a sad feeling and fits to this track in a perfect way like all other instruments.

The Wah Wah effect on your guitar is well used and you understood to play the guitar with that effect.

The whole track is very good arranged.
First you played the instruments alone and to the end all come together and the track get his sense.

Finally I must say that I haven´t got a depressed mood after I listen to your track. Instead I can see a man that understand to fight against his depression and stand against it like a strong rock in a sea.

Well done Srigi, I can´t wish you to be depressed more often, so we can enjoy more tracks like these but now we know that you can express your moods with music very good.

Best wishes...

{EMOTIONS}
At first I didn't like the song. To be honest the frst 4 minutes of listening. But then, after listening to the whole tune I returned to the beginning and everything fitted well! So it wasn't that that I didn't like the song but I wasn't in a right mood!

Worth listening!

I like that midigater plugin effect inside. Perhaps I would work to make it wider in stereo but I'm not sure

Damn - the file wouldn't play correctly for me either - even after downloading it . . I also tried exporting it to MPG4 - it played without interruption but there were strange spurious noises messing it all up.
Was that real guitar playing or programming? Whichever - it was beautiful.
Wish I could comment further - but I can't really because of the trouble with the file. sorry

It works great (I mean the file) though I'm on a Mac  But indeed, it downloaded v e r y s l o w l y. Perhaps it's due to the fact it's THAT large (7.9MB)? Hmmm it doesn't excide the maximum size allowed. Srigi, perhaps overwriting the file would do good? I mean if you replaced the old file with the same one but upload it once more???

I'm also on a Mac - but tried playing through QuickTime - I might just download it again and have it play through iTunes as samplaire did.

Still think the guitar work was beautiful - looking forward to hearing the file as it was meant to sound
cheers
