just loaded magix music studio 2004 onto a computer for an artist i work with, what a bargain!it comes with two programs, midi studio which is a logic clone(slightly cut down but very nice AND it records audio)and audio studio which is the main engine from samplitude.(so it burns redbook cds).
lots of functionality,logic and sam features,and $69.nice.

Indeed looks at a steal. Makes me wonder, why a Pulsar user would want to buy Samplitude?
I think this will be the program, that I will recomend to my fellow students.

My brother (37) is very keen on Magix at all, he likes all the products for affordability and what they can do for the price (he composes, mix music and prepares his own family videos with appropriate program burning them in VCD format!). For many purposes the cut-off programs like those or Logic fun are more than enough for a home musician or video creator!
