Hi all,
I have had the effects package 1 now for some time. Ever since loading it, I have had a slight problem with it, but until now it did not concern me.
On loading the plug-in (e.g. Resonator) I would get the message
'Can't find DSP file Effects Package 1 - please check installation'.
However, it would always work fine, so having tried re-installing it once with no success, I gave up.
But for my latest project I needed midi control of the Resonator (sounds WICKED on drums, BTW !) I tried putting it in one of those midi insert things, and it just didnt' work. So I put it in my mixer - the channel coming from my STS with the drums - and, well, it seemed to work. However, When I reloaded the project, I got the same message, and it hasn't worked since. Which is a little frustrating.
It works if you bypass the effect, but there's just total silence with the effect turned on.
I am running (finally) 3.1c.
The effects package 1 is registered to my Powerpulsar card, which is the master card in my system.
Anyone got a solution ?
