I have a keyboard connected to pulsar 2 card and i know how to use it. But I also have Roland MC-303 GrooveBox ( http://www.rolandus.com/products/detail ... dID=MC-303 ) which I don't know how/where to use (except if i'm using it separate from the PC) to make the things go easier.

I think should be possible to use somehow to make the things easier or so. It has MIDI in and out....

Do you know how could i use it? Maybe to automate the things on SFP or cubase sx?

I keep the mc-505 for that reason: to remote dsp synths.

-Select on your mc-303 the same channel as the dsp synth,
-right-click a knob u want to control
-turn a knob on mc-303
-click "+"
If you want to keep these settings for later, save the device's MIDI Remote Preset.

afaik the knobs on the mc-303 don't send controller values via midi
At least that was the feature (the only flaw) which prevented me from getting one. But maybe they've improved it over time.

The MC-303 does NOT send CC data on it's knobs. That combined with it's slightly wandering midi timing during multitrack recording/playback have really made the MC303 nothing more than a portable sketchpad or a tonebox. It can recieve CC data, but nowhere near that of the MC505. Your best bet is to use it as an 8 track midi sequencer (if you can deal with the strange timing issues - I personally like them, they make it sound more human on busy drum parts) and a tone source.

I actually kept my JP8000 for the reason of controlling the Pulsar synths (all the knobs/sliders send CC!) and I really like that multisaw.

Advice - pick up a cheap midi control keyboard that sends CC data or a Kenton box. Either should set you back about $150+ but are a "necessary" investment when dealing with softsynths.
