Hi,

I'm having problems connecting to the wave output of Pulsar, I have tried recording my mix into Soundforge or Wavelab and get the same problem. When trying to record from the wave output I can't get a signal, but if I wait a while (20secs upwards) the signal sometimes starts coming into the program (soundforge/Wavelab) but when I click on record it disappears again.

I have had the same problem accross Win98, Win2k and XP. I am now on Win98 and when I first installed the o/s everything worked fine for about a day or so. I am left wondering if I have too much running on my PC at once.

My setup is P4 2.2Ghz, 512 Ram, Win98. I am running SFP with 3 creamware cards (24DSPs), CubaseSX, Reason2 and trying to record the mix with soundforge.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Wave output.. what is that?
the appropriate connection would be "asio source" to "wave dest".
i'm not in cubase but try to route asio source 1L-1R to
wave dest L-R.

I have routed the output of the mixing desk (mix out) to wave dest and recorded the mix into soundforge . I have used this arrangement successfuly many times in the past.

why don't you simply add 2 additional ASIO channels to record the mixer output parallel to the other stuff ?
If detailed editing is needed later in SF or WL, export as what you like.
