I didn't even realise Sonoquid was still for sale. I was spewing I couldn't get this thing and all this time I could have bought it.
Why didn't I see this? DOH!
And now it's been given away for free.
I must remember to download all this stuff when I get home - must remember - must remember.

Well, this goes out to all Spacemusicians out there... Get Sonoquid as long it's available or put it on your website. This thing is pretty cool and to be honest i don't understand creamware. Sonoquid was made two years befor Spectrasonics Atmosphere... and it can do more spacey pad's due to the fact that you can load the sound's you like. Now imagine this with the STS5K realtime capabilities and a.. well

simpler user interface...
out..

Thank you. I hope you will find other ways to bring more food on the table (said with respect).

Actually, from what I've seen it also compares very well to Ultran, the native generator in the Orion Platinum host.
Someone demonstrated this device to me once but said it was no longer for sale and I really wanted it at the time....ooooh I'm gonna have some fun.

Tried that one yesterday but didn't get it to work with ordinary samples. I guess I have to find some Akai-programs to test it with.
What kind of samples does it work best with?
But you guys who have tested it... how does it work? I read the info on the old site, but I still don't get it. And when Sonoquid says it's like Atmosphere I get VERY interested.

To Arkadin:
downloading/unpacking works fine with MacRAR on my mac.
After clicking on the file to download my macOS9.2 let's me point to macRAR, and then starts downloading.
at your service

Hmmm... been playing with it for an hour now and I really can't say I'm impressed. If you remember the debate regarding the GUI of Europa? Well... I just can't stand the interface of Sonoquid. And after loading some Akai samples into it. Well... I just can't see what's so special with it.

Sonoquid was some of the first pulsar devices, few years back if I remember well. There was no STS at that time, only the sample players (which are not here anymore).
At that time I think Sonoquid (which was also delivered by Best Service with special set of samples) did things no other devices could do in a standalone.....
Weel, that's my 2 cents.

Ok. That would explain the UFO-inspired GUI

i will try to find the "howto" that was on the original cd by best service...
... and if you like this device... cool, if not delete it

... guess the download didn't hurt...

I would absolutely love the "How-to" if it's still around!
