Hi All,

This is to let everyone know I've released an upgrade to the WineCountrySequential Pro One software survival kit.

Details for v2.0 are as follows:

1) uses the new preset list, for both the synth and the sequencer
2) XTC Mode functionality
3) New Unison Mode (same as Prophet Plus) with Number of Voices and Detune
4) New Low note/last note priority parameter

(3) and (4) are on a new Global page.

The Unison function is the same as the Prophet Plus - it allows for 'polyphonic stacking' as well. Here's the idea:

Let's say you have 4 voices allocated to the Pro One. If you want standard Unison, you set the # of voices parameter to the first choice, ALL.

Then you can detune each voice from the other with the Detune parameter, and all voices will play on one note.

If, however, you select '2' as the # of voices, you can play 2 notes, each with 2 voices stacked on it. (If you have 3 voices allocated, the first note will stack 2 voices, the second note you play will have only 1 voice). If you had 12 voices assigned, you could stack 3 per key for 4 notes, or 4 per key for 3 notes, all depending on what you put in the '# of voices' parameter.

Another major change - the sequencer has a separate preset list, and the patterns are now updated to store the following parameters per pattern:

1) Sequencer Master Division
2) Sequence Master Swing
3) Seq Master Step count
4) Seq Row B Step count
5) Seq B Row Step count on/off switch
6) Seq Row C Step count
7) Seq Row C Step count on/off switch
 Sequence Master Glide on/off
9) Seq Row A 'checkboxes'
10) all Modulation sources, amounts and destinations

I also added small displays for the Modulation amounts on the left side.

The WineCountry Pro One can be purchased at: https://www.winecountrysequential.com/order.html

cheers,
john b.

That's great! Now is the Standard Prophet the only SC synth that is still using the old preset list?

Prophet Standard v2.0 uses the new preset list, as you'll see if you download my presets for it (plug, plug). Mail John Bowen and he'll tell you how to get the upgrade (there is a small cost).

...except that you now seem to have to load both a normal and a sequencer preset in order to use presets that involve the sequencer. Pretty annoying, and I don't seem to be able to succesfully import my old sequencer presets either.

Seperate preset lists ? In use it's easier to edit preset for a said sequence etc with severa lists.... it's like "not having the midi channel in the preset". at least that's how I understand it. (i love sub preset lists)

Well I'd like it if when I recall a preset in the main preset list, that it also loads the correct sequence with it, but it seems you have to do this seperately now.
I'll get used to it
