After about an hour of fine performance, suddenly Logic will slow right up, so much so that the mouse only moves a pixel or two every 30 seconds or so.
I've traced the freeze to some sort of background XTC or ASIO tasks.
I can generally save my project but it takes about 10 mins, and closing never works.
Killing everything, and restarting logic with XTC is fine, until it happens again. Reboots don't make any difference.
I run XTC using ASIO2 and at the slowest interrupt (32ms or so). Version of SFP is 3.1c.
The machine is a P4 (ASUS P4P-E) with 512MB RAM, SCSI drives, SCOPE SP card with Z-Link I/O and an A16 Ultra.
Any help appreciated.
