hello pulsarian.
i'm planin to uppgrade my DAW and i wont to purchase an asus motherboard that work best with my pulsar2 .
i want my DAW will have:
aus motherbord
P4 2.4 533k
512 DDR/1024 DDR at 333Mhz
80 giga westerndigital 8mb catch.
i don't need onboard audio card lan etc..
so minimum is requiered.
any sujestion on the mother bord or enything else will help.

Asus P4B533

I'm using an ASUS p4pe/l with a 2.4 b processor overclocked to 166 fsb and memory 512 MB kingston @ 400 DDR.

Runs great just keep in mind you need some descent cooling when overclocking like I do (using alpha pal cooler).

Sure it's ok since that's only what's officially supported on the board. But since I'm overclocking my CPU I can overclock the memory to 400 DDR but running at 333 DDR is what is standard on the board. You should be fine....
