...I am getting an "Installation Error" prompt when I try to start my computer. It says something like "Hardware Revision 16 not supported. Cannot start Pulsar." Even stranger is if I restart my computer sometimes it will work fine. I looked in the Quick Start Manual and it says most likely it is an IRQ conflict. Should I move the Pulsar out of the first PCI slot and put it in the third? I tried putting it in the second but it wont fit because the metal on the back of the card bumps into a capacitor on the board. What the hell is going on???

yes, move the card.most likely,the first slot shares irq w/ agp.

Does this mean I need to uninstall then reinstall the card or can I just move it?

when you move it and start your computer windows will automatically install the drivers.
no need to reinstall the software (SFP).

Hello!
I have had some IRQ conflict problems in the past, so I had to experiment with placing my Pulsars to many different PCI slots, until I find a working solution.
From what I have experienced, you should un-install SFP before placing the card to a different PCI slot. I have a Pulsar2 and an XTC card, and have found that if I change them PCI slots before I uninstall SFP, then SFP doesn't recognize the cards (Windows do however). I dont know if this happens when having one card, but it is true if you have 2 or 3 cards.
So, if you havent modified a lot the SFP folder (so you dont have anything to lose) then you should uninstall SFP, change PCI slots the cards and then install SFP again.

hmmm I wonder what I should do? I guess I can try moving the card without reinstalling and see if that works. If not I guess I'll have to reinstall. Thanks for the help.
