God, thalamus, that's beautiful . . .
Please, just leave it as a piano thing, its so simple and delicate: choirs and orchestra might just overpower it.
Reminds me of those lovely gentle Chopin nocturnes. PERFECT for film.

This is part of a movie theme that in the beginning just was supposed to be "ONLY PIANO" (for the whole movie), and later on I got the permit to use full orchestor.
Maybe this piece can stand only being piano, i don't know... Time will tell
I gotta listen to that Chopin guy...

Are you serious ? You wrote this and you haven't been listening to Chopin. Download some NOW ! He was the GOD of romantic piano pieces. It looks like he's got a contender though
Hmmm maybe be you ARE joking . . . its so hard to tell in writing !
By the way I really like the sound of that piano multi-sample too - where can I get one from ?

The Steinberg Grand does a good job it seems.
What a beatiful romantic piece. Definitely love it on its own - doesn't need any further accompaniment.
It just seems like such a solo piece - hard to imagine an orchestra around it.

Well, I have heard Chopin, once or twice at my grandmy's place, but I never really listened to him. I'll give him a try.
I think it works on its own too, but i'll make a version with full orchester. But it's not gonna be like "Tja daaaaaa" with paukes and stuff, just nice violins and maybe a flygelhorn

Yes it is very nice. I think, that with the support of this piece of music the film just has to become a great piece of art.
I am looking forward to hearing more music form the film.

Well, thanx go to you all for your kind comments...
The film is made by a young danish guy, and is about a physciatrist (wrong spelling), who is becoming a massmurder,course he can't not handle love. It's like he has this "jekyld & hyde" syndrome, an good an evil side, and in the end, he is not able to draw the line between rigth and wrong. The script is very emotional, I think.
I'll post more music in the progress

I don't know where it's coming from, just my fingers playing piano. I had very little training, so I had to practice every little part to make it sound like it does...

This is excellent. Some taste of Satie and the simplicity of Mendelssohn's "Songs without words".
I would tweak those sustain pedal placements a bit as the bass notes overlap in many places( maybe it's a note length problem?)
Can't wait to hear the orchestrated version, I was certainly hearing lots of possibilities.

dude, u know, maybe a bit of mellotron and a weak female choir (way back in the mix) would do here? that was the first thing that popped up in my mind. Maybe i listened to much to Air
All in all a very good tune.

I am a fan of yours brother! I love this piece! And I'd like to put a track of woodwind(s) on it! Strings will be awesome with that piano for sure! I just tried to remove a bit of mids from 500 to 1000 hz and I like the sound better like that.

Whew, I'm a bit overwhelmed with your positivity with this piece. The godess of music (if such exists) must have some of all this praise.

<B>Niel B : </B> Perfect? wow, I'm flattered. My myself can only hear my pianotechnic got to improve. Mayby in the very end, where we have 1.000 versions, we choose this first one, stricly piano, because it have a simplicity and nerve, that the others lack. Time will tell.
