Anyone out there try recycle 2.0 yet? By any miracle would they happen to have support for us STS3000 users?
Anyway, I'm sure any other comments or opinions about the new recycle would be appreciated since so many of us use it. Thanx in advance fellas.

I´m running Rex2 and I like it very much. I don´t know much about STS3000, but if it answers to the SMDI-standard then Rex2 have an extended SMDI-device that should do the job.

I've just been playing around with my STS4000 (big brother to STS3000) and Recycle 2 for a couple of hours. My main concern is getting a loop from Recycle to my Sampler and playing in as short a time as possible. I found the fastest way is to export a file from Recycle as a Soundfont file, which the STS3000 can handle, along with the MIDI file. Then you can put the .sf2 file(s) in the Program Pool of the STS and then get it into a slot in the main program window. The samples are all mapped out correctly and ready to play from your favorite sequencer with the MIDI file which you can export into the sequencer.
You can also export the loop from Recycle as AKAI samples but then you have to create a whole program in the STS and map the samples correctly which does take a bit of extra time.
If you wanted to just record the Recyle loop into the STS3000 (for whatever reason) Recycle now supports ASIO.
That's my short experience. Hope it helped. Any more questions?
