Hi

I have to slowly get used to Cubase SX now that Logic is Mac only.

I can get my synths to automate in logic but not in Cubase SX.

Could someone please explain what they do to bring up the automation stuff so I can check if I'm doing something wrong?

I use the little + tags to drop down automation tracks in Cubase but I can't find the synth parameters.

Thanks heaps for your time : )

Use "R" and "W" buttons on Cubase's VST/VSTi stuff to automate.

In "W"rite mode it writes parameter settings to a designated automation track. Once the track is created, you can continue to automate via the device's GUI or select & draw parameters on the automation track.

Thanks At0mic,

I thought I had tried that, I'll give it a more thorough tweaking.

I must say Cubase SX works much better in XTC mode than Logic does. In logic it is unusable but Cubase works a treat.

I was a big fan of VST 5.1 and it looks like Cubase is the program for me.

It was obvious. Thanks for putting me on the right track.
