Hello!
I must say that I am very happy lately with my current configuration of my DAW. Everything works fine, I can have 16 96KHz 24bit stereo audiotracks playing with not any pops, or clicks, or any other problem in Cubase SX.
But today, I went on to record a very simple MIDI piece and saw a very strange behaviour in SX. Basically, I was just using a CW synth and I wanted to record just one MIDI track. I was using the audio metronome click (not any midi one). What was happening is the following:
when I hit record or play and I start from the begining of the project, the midi stays in sync with the metronome and everything is fine, BUT
when I do the same thing from anywhere else in the project (lets say from bar 2), everything gets out of sync. The cursor runs, then stops a bit, then runs again, etc, the click and the midi do the same, its a nightmare!
Is this a known bug of SX 1.051? OR is there a setting somewhere that needs to be changed? (I have tried various settings of the Audio Priority in the Expert settings but always its the same thing).
Please enlighten me!
Thank you
