To all Joe Meek products fans, two important links on the company changes to TFPro (Ted Fletcher designs under his own name)

Interesting. I am curious about the company problems reported. I know that PMI Audio bought the brand name (the same company that is bringing those cheapo Studio Projects mics to the market). In fact, I am currently going 'round with them on a JM repair issue. I am not impressed with their level of support I'm sorry to say. Sad. Doesn't hurt my opinion of the old JM products though. They sound excellent. Kinda old school designs but it's the sound quality that matters most.

Most meek stuff (and a few alesis I think, at least tube mics) were made by the same chinese factory. I am not sure if Studio Project is another company or actually the manufacturer itself who has decided to sell his neumann's clone under its own name (which have excellent reviews). That would explain why it is so cheap with such a quality .
I just hope they will keep the JoeMeek quality. For moment the TFPro doesn't offer exactly the same devices (on their mono preamp (ex-VCqcs) they do not have the xlr input on the front panel for ex...).
