when you turned into a "pulsar geek"?
i just did and i'm in the middle of compiling some kind of "this is us"-package for me and my song writing partner åke.

man things have become if not easier then at least 1000 times more fun since i got my first cw card!
åke on the other hand is still on his emu aps system and believe me i've tried to win him over but you can't teach old dogs to sit...

so how does one celebrate turning into a "geek"? join the star trek community? collect days of our lives memorabilia?

nah, i'll just have a beer
cheers everyone and thank you everyone for being here!

cool. It's nice to have a milestone moment when you can look back and see how much you've progressed, and how much the world around you has changed. Welcome to geekhood.

I don't remember exactly but it must have been around the time I realized I was completely addicted to that CW stuff
It's small yet but my 'perfect system', letting me explore sound in any way I want.
Outstanding quality and ease of use - just provided a couple of digital monitors so now I can enjoy it without cans on.
Just left out Minimax to get a virtual 250 bucks off NOAH
But I've to admit I try to fight all that fidelity with a dozen or so Casios and some 80s Yamaha FM stuff

cheers, Tom

When I became a Pulsar Geek, I still had not gotten my system to work without clicks. I this signature: I am not a Pulsar geek.

If you want to avoid clicks and pops you simply need the right computer. Try a new Asus/Intel with lots of RAM a good graphics card (I use ATI) and no scsi card. I used to have problems and I asked Creamware which components work best with their hardware. Since I built the right computer things have been great. The new SFP and windows XP Professional also seem to have made things better.
