Hi!

I found a page where I could download 145 free plugin to my Pulsar II.
I think it´s great that there are so many plugins to choose between, but there is also a problem. Which is the best one???
I really need help finding out what the best reverb, deley, compressor, limiter etc is.
The plugins you find in Effects Package I and II are really good. But are they the best ones?
please help me with this. I don´t want to have 10 different reverbs, 10 compressors and so on.
I know that this is a personal question, but plese help me if you can!

i'd suggest to do a search here. it has been discussed many times (and always with some enthousiasm  )

but here's something to start with:
PT reverbs, maryjane delay, d-compressor, all the wavelength devices, d-sync, neutron stuff, celmo,...

just give them a try. take an evening or afternoon and start loading them in SFP and play. i have lots of devices, and put the most usable ones in logical folders.

For Effects(especially reverbs )I buyed
a Lexicon MPX 1:-)))
You must try out any effect and also YOU must know what you like...

Borg's suggestions hit the point.
From KimGR there's the free Finaliza for mastering / compression.
From wavelength the germ, germpd and avalon are outstanding synths, plastic and drumvox rule for electro drums.
The latter if you want to dig really deep into the single instrument (you'll include an instance for each drum instrument).
Eats your DSPs for breakfast but can compete with any $$-hardware in that segment.
Celmo and EarlyFirst (PT) offer a lot of 'small' free versions of their regular devices.
The really good stuff isn't exactly free but has very moderate prices. We should support those third parties (at least a little) to keep the platform going.

cheers, Tom

soul-synthesis... You can find all the 145 free devices on this page:(http://scope.youngmusic.at/index9.html)
Just click on the Scope icon, and in the next page, enter "Free Devices".

there's a free exciter out there.. I think it's just called "exciter". I use that sometimes, and there seems to be no other free exciters around. It's one of those things where you just install, and forget about it 'till you need it.

Which free devices have you already installed and decided to keep anyway? (so it's more clear where you're headin')

Hi
The 'effect' that has improved my overall sound most, must be the Optimaster. It can add real 'volume' and punch.

Personnaly,i love the Celmo X-Machine, very good and it sound marvelous.

I bet the Sharc One from STW has the same qualities level.

The Celmo X-Machine is precise, rich, and has a complete feature set.
