Hello,

I´m quite new to the Pulsar and have browsed these forums often- they are a very good resource. However, I haven´t found an answer to this question: the MTCtoClock device, what exactly is it´s output? I was very happy when I saw it- no more MidiClocks out of phase!- but when I send a normal MTC to it, and try to connect it to a Midi-In, the Pulsar just says "cannot make connection, pads are incompatible, and there is no converter available" Hmm? Anyone ?

I was recently messing with the MTCToClk, trying to use it to convert MTC from my sequencer, out to the syncplate dest, to drive my ADAT. no luck.

when i asked CW about it, they said that this atom is ONLY for use with TDAT (the CW hard disk recording software). i told them that this is different from what it says in the manual, and so, they're changing the manual.

That´s too bad. It would be very useful for a soundgeek like me to be able to use MTC instead of MidiClock in the Modular.

Thanks for your help.

too bad for me too, as it means that there's no way to drive my ADAT tape from Logic. instead i have to use Scope/SP's VRC and slave both the adat and logic to that. clunky and lame

Is it futile to hope for such a feature in a future upgrade? Maybe if Creamware-staff were monitoring these forums(Maybe they do!), like on the NordModular-list and the Kyma-Forums... There are a lot of things you could wish for... like control-inputs on effects in the Modular... and the possibility to have several knobs assigned to the same controller... and... and
