Hi all,
I'm out of a windows on the 30° floor of a building thinking to fall down if I can't solve this problem! Save Me!

I've installed WinXP Professional Edition on my Pc ( PIII -1 Giga , Asus TUSL2-C, 512Meg, 2 Hdd, Ati Radeon 7000 ) where first lied Win98 SE with my beloved Pulsar II with SFP 3.01 and all worked fine.

Now, after a really "start from scratch" installation ( with Win2K driver ) my beloved Pulsar doesn't work anymore and says "Hardware Version 30 detected. This Hardware requires a software Update"

Do I fall down or can someone pleaz help me?

Thank for any kind posting!

Cheers

Make sure you install the SCOPE drivers first, then the 3.1a SFP software. Then the 3.1c update. The system must ask for a REEBOOT then the installation would continue. I am running exactly the same system you have there. VERY STABLE.

Thks For the kind answer.
The problem solved itself by either installing the 3.1 drivers & moving the card onto another pci slot.

Cheers!

The DRIVERS MUST install first or else you would get that ERROR 30. Bye. Have a MUSICAL NEW YEAR.
