I believe this one is easy for those who know. However I have wasted enough (?) time.
The solution might be connected with my integrated Intelsoundcard.
I am using Roland PC-300.
When I play via the USB-cable the midi will get recorded in Cubase.
If I in addition have the following routing I will hear what I play in the speakers:
Pulsar Midi Source out-->Miniscope out->In 1/In 2 Micromixer Mix 1/Mix 2--> LIn /RIn Pulsar Analog Destination
When I play with the above setup, I will hear the Miniscope sound, and there will in Cubase be recorded in the midi track.
Description of problem:
If I then rewind in Cubase, and push Play, I will hear nothing.
So apparently there is something wrong with my routing?
However, if the speakers receive the output not from pulsar analog, but from the standard(Intel?) output, then I can hear what I recorded in Cubase. But only the ROland basic Piano sound. So why am I not hearing the Miniscope Sound?
Additional Info:
The Intel and Pulsar are sharing IRQ 9
In Control Panel/Sounds etc.:
The integrated Intel card is set as Standard for both Recording and Playback,
While Microsoft GS Wavetable is set to standard for playback of MIDI.
If I try to exchange these "standards" with the Pulsar Wave/Midi alternatives, I lose control over Volume/Advanced options.
Anyone?
Thanks!:)
