I have installed Win XP, Pulsar 2 card, and Pulsar SFP software on my machine, no problem. I have then installed Cubase SX, but when I try to run it I recieve a whole list of error messages saying that Cubase is unable to find files riff.dll, base.dll etc. I think these are Pulsar files, but there is no opportunity in the dialogue to point Cubase to the location of these files. What can I do?

I see a lot of people have looked at this posting but not replied. If any of you experience installation problems here's a simple tip. Get your card up and running in XP using the Win2K drivers specified by Creamware. Next install Cubase SX and THEN install the SFP software making sure you direct plugins to the VST plugin folder in Cubase. This way, everything works fine.

This is true. Also, install SX with any anti virus software disabled, otherwise potentially lots of problems. SX also doesn't like registry cleaners especially microsoft's regclean.
Hope all is up and running OK now

Hi
Take a look at

I used this thread to fix all the problems I had. There are a number of links to some good sites where you can get a 'check list' of tweaks and advice.
Just go through them one by one, start from a clean install and don't put anything else on your system until you have SPF and Cubase working correctly. I have found a number of older plugins can cause problems.
Good luck
