I carefully read all the instructions on Creamware's web pages. I installed ASPI drivers 4.70 and even 4.72 as mentionned on Adaptec's pages. When I run Set-up 3.1a or 3.1c. things semm to be downloaded from HD for about 30 seconds but nothing happens. No install window pops up. No crash either.

I am on Dell inspiron 8200 + magma chassis (with drivers installed too) + XP pro as it came from Dell though. No re-install yet.

Don't know what to do next.

try and private mail dArKr3zIn. he has quite a similar setup and has his dell and magma working together just fine. look at his setup here:
