With its 11 sound slots and controls like Attack, Decay, Tune and more, you can use it to emulate classical drumboxes or to create new sounds.

You can choose from the 3 operational modes "909", "808" and "Custom".

The first 2 modes sound like their name ! Classical drums sounds for your songs.

On the last mode " Custom ", you have access to more different kits with full control on each sound.

And you can also import your own samples for ultimate tweaking !

Some features of the Huidrums :

Plugin for Scope Fusion Platform. Calculated by the DSP board, the output sound is Latency-Free !
11 Drum slots : All the sounds can be played simultaneously.
Edition: Attack or Pitch can be modified in real time.
Different Drumkits : Choose your preferred kit through the many different sounds included into the Huidrums.
Integrated Tempo Delay: Set the tempo then control the level of each sound with the Aux pot.
Aux signal path : With this additional Effect signal path, you can integrated your favorite effect like reverb. The internal routing permit different level on each sound.
Master Effect
"Old Sound" : Give to your sound some " roughness " of old drum machines.
4 Sub Outputs : You can send individual drum sounds on these additional outputs for more effects or to rout them to different outputs of your soundcard.
3 "Skins" : You can choose between 3 drumboxes : 808 , 909 and " Custom "
Samples Import : The HuiDrums can import WAV, AIFF or AKAI (*.s) files at maximum resolution 24bit/96kHz.
Midi Control : All the parameters can be fully automated by Midi controllers, which permit a " Live " use of the Huidrums.
The Huidrums is available now for less than 70 Euros net retail price. It can be bought directly from the D-Mute website. A Demo version is also available for testing.

WARNING : For the moment the version available is fully working only on PC.

Oh, I'm so sorry I can't try it (I'm on a Mac). You have similar problems John Bowen had with his Rotor synth transforming it to Mac (messing with folders?), don't you? I think you can cntact him for the workaround. It looks yummy though  It's a pity you can't call it D-drum but I understand it

There should be more drum stuff like this for Pulsar/SFP. As a Mac user I'm going to have to wait a while longer though (boo hoo).

Hi,
Sorry for people who have trouble with the installer...only french for the moment...
You have to point the SFP directory and not the Device directory in order to have the files copied correctly...

Best regards,
Loup

Looks really good, but just wondering how much dsp this thing takes up ? Would I be able to do anything else with my 6 chips ?

Hi,

With everything activated : effect (delay), the "Old Sound" (heavy on DSPs) and the 11 drumslots, it takes around 140% of 1 DSP.

Without effects, around 100-110% of one DSP.

Best regards,
Loup

Hi,
There will be some sounds played by the Huidrums, but it can be better to try the device itself !
A new demo version is available now on our website !
It features more drumkits and new "Old sound" circuit.

Some more kits are on the way and will be Free of charge for existing users. They would be loaded into the 'Bank' slots on the present Huidrums.

ps : Unfortunatly, the device is still available only for PC computers.

Best regards,
Loup
