Thanks Hubrid,
yeah, OSX 10.2 RAWKS for being able to record the in-built speech to an AIFF file.
I made a little applescript that accepts the phrases and voice etc...and saves it out, the only thing I can't do is get it to save the file as 44.1k - have to convert from 22k - but it beats using a microphone on the speaker

the song starts out with some life, but fades a bit... what are you trying to convey with the words??

No real deep and meaningful message intended with the vocal lines - that would be pointless in this type of music..... but on the other hand - it is kinda a break-up (relationship) tune if you think about it too hard
