I've got a Unitor as my PC midi interface, and of course I've got the single midi port lead on the Pulsar cable.

I get midi into unitor and then into Logic fine.

When I create a track my destination options are any Unitor channel, the Pulsar cable, any Nemesys midi channel (Gigastudio) or something called Generator internal Midiport.

I assume that, as the NI instruments don't appear in Pulsar's Windows Devices directory, I have to use the Generator internal Midiport. Am I right???

well , in logic ,the midi routing to vst instruments is done differently then cubase ,when u start a new project in logic u can see 2 channels (in the arrange window) called "audio instrument1" and "audio instrument2" then , in the mixer ,scroll until u see the audio instrumen's channel then ,like u choose an effect in the normal audio channels choose a vst instruments ,assuming that u have them installed correctly ,then go to the arrange window and create a new midi part or play it from your keyboard (when the "audio instrument" channel is selected .

that's it ...

have fun.

Thanks for the quick reply Shimi.

I should have made myself clearer. I'm using the NI stuff as standalone - not plug ins.

hey man,

well ,in that case use "hubi loopback device" for additional midi in's and out's , then ,set the input in the b4 standalone and the out in logic to LB1 port (lets say) ,

and then ... go...play the instrument,cuz u r set up .

have fun.
