Hi everyone

I've decided to take a few days off to focus on making music. I did a clean install of SFP, Cubase SX, and all my soft synths; downloaded and installed all the latest updates, re-organized my DAW, etc.

I am a happy camper

BUT I am getting the dreaded error message "XTC not properly installed" each time I start Cubase SX

But wait, there's more!

I have to enter EACH product key EACH ime Cubase starts...

OUCH! Please help me!

Note (some info):

. My SFP folder is on a different partition than the OS itself

. My Cubase VSTPLUGINS folder is empty, I moved all its contents (including XTC plugs) into another VSTPLUGINS in a different partition. Though, I DID set this as my default vst folder in Cubase

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards

Yayy

I think I fixed the problem!

I had to move the "standard" vst devices from my custom folder to the original folder.

I also had to delete all the XTC devices which were asking me for an authorization code each time (!). The reason: I don't own these devices. COuldnt they add a simple button to tell Cubase not to load these anymore?

Now I am looking into making VINCO work in XTC... can't see it in there yet.

Can you make my SonicTimeworks 4080L and CompX work too while you're at it?

XTC mode totally kicks ass. I wish it had more support.

(alright. exiting cheerleader mode.)
