I've read many times, that a CW card should not share it's IRQ with other devices.
Well, I looked at MS System Information and what's the result?
IRQ 0 System timer
IRQ 1 Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard
IRQ 3 Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
IRQ 3 RADEON 7000 / RADEON VE
IRQ 3 VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller
IRQ 3 VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller
IRQ 3 Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC
IRQ 3 Creamware Scope
IRQ 3 HPT370 UDMA/ATA100 RAID Controller
IRQ 6 Standard floppy disk controller
IRQ 8 System CMOS/real time clock
IRQ 13 Numeric data processor
IRQ 14 Primary IDE Channel
IRQ 15 Secondary IDE Channel

I see IRQ3 is pretty crowded. But what can I do for it? Radeon is AGP, and Scope is in the only PCI slot that it fits (well, badly) due to MoBo design...

hi spoimala,
i don't know your mobo, but at least in mine (tusl2-c) i can set fixed irq's for pci slots. where are irq's 9 or 5 ? they usually are used for audio....
what mobo and system do you have?
are you confortable with bios settings?
if you use xp with acpi mode i can't help, ask atOmic, he knows, but if you use xp with standard pc mode or 98se or millennium, you can do some things....

let me know...ciao.

if it is working dont worry about it.

abit has an extremely confusing way of assigning the IRQs to the slots.

notice that IRQ 5 and 7 are not even being used by anything. if you could force scope to IRQ5 or 7 then it would be nice.

Oh yes, I didn't mention, it IS NOT working.
Awful crackle and pops all the time.. even with just playing an MP3!
ASIO freezes from time to time, and I even have Blue Screens Of Death!
Oh, and some constant noise and hiss is outputted... and this noise varies according to mouse movement. And disappers totally when I left click and scroll something.
