oh yes, is the best for that combo.

i have it both lp and cd, from the day it was released....

i love also the previous combo (and the others too..). check "red" if you didn't. it brings tears to my eyes.

Yeah - red is great; my favourite of the favourites is 'In the wake of Poseidon'. I know they criticise the album being too similar to their first release but for me it rules. I've seen King Crimson live some 2 years ago (Warsaw).Though it's a rock group (?) they played 0% of 4/4 songs! The only one in that metrum was 'Hero' by David Bowie played as a last 'encore' song

I've got the entire KC catalog on CD. One of my favorite bands also. Sorry to say, never saw them live except on a bootleg video. Tried to go see them play here in Chicago one time (an outdoor gig many years ago) but they had to cancel the gig for lack of power (or something to that effect). I was major disappointed. I've been listening a lot to the 4 CD set of improv they released as separate smaller bands. Is there any new KC news?

My first thought was, John will move this to the offtopic area, at the same time I knew I was missing something...

what a nice coincidence of names
Didn't even know KC is still active, seems they got a bit out of sight from me.
Had all their old stuff but my memory of that time is a bit foggy

best wishes to the new disciple, Tom

the great deceiver BOX is a fantastic evidence of their talentuous interplay .
it was gigs from the 74's period (pre red )
with wetton, bruford , fripp ,cross . the best line up IMHO . the sound is superb ! the box contains 4 CD . There is compositions and improv indeed . highly recommanded to any FAN of KC .
some guys compare my band to KC . I think because I use a real mellotron.
for those who are interrested :
