i'm working on a project that contains one 303 device(free from orbitone) in the sequencer the notes refers to that 303 channel are layerd one on the edge of the other to create the 303 sound (glide)the problem is that every time i use it , it stucks on a note for a while and i can't release it unless i'm disconnecting the midi source from the device , any ideas ??

when i notice hanging notes i increase the voices of the device, that solves it often for me. if a note is hanging it´s enough to change the midi channel for a short time, when setting it back the note is gone.

i know that trick but thanx anyway , if i'll increase the notes i won't get that "glide" effect that i want , and besides i think the 303 is monophonic..

Regarding the problem: I've encountered the same problem without finding a proper cause/solution for it.;(

The Orbitone 303 is by default monophonic, but can be set to poly but then you'll miss the typical effects from mono synths.

i have only had problems when i set a loop segment, with a note off falling outside of the looped region. it helps to reset the loop to correct for this, or redraw the last note. i do not know if this helps though . . . i do agree that you want to leave it monophonic for the glides, which are o-so-nice

best solution is to change midi channel of 303 for a moment. solution posted on pulsar scope forum, works fine for me

I also have this problem on Orbitone SynChrome synth. Sonar has a reset midi button which solves it. But Live 4 doesn't.
SynChrome is great btw, better than a lot of the more expensive ones, it has a very odd sound.
