It actually has vocal work - albeit kinda 60's over the top of a piano motif. I'm afraid of the vocal work

I used an STS4000 for the piano and a pad sound - and mixed in SFP.

At the beginning it would sound like a road, but it was the guitar... interesting. Lovely piano sound and sequence.
It sounds melancolic, like when you say bay bay to a friend that is going far away...
I can't understand what you say very well, some words are lost, but I love the job you did with your voice. I definitely like your musical direction.

Lovely!

a little masterpiece here...
Take notice ladies and gentleman

Sinsere, poetic, honest, artistic, and controll on the composition.
Good job!

Wow... thanks for the positive reviews.
The lyrics are:
The colour of your skin, when it holds the moon
The music from your lips, in the afternoon
It may be in my head, but it's so real.
When summer secrets start to shout
and the breezes tell where the clouds hang out
It maybe someone else, but it's still real.
Maybe the ocean speaks, what it cares about
Or maybe the sand heart beats, when the sun's around
It may be in my head, but it's so real.
That might make it easier to understand

great atmosphere. I wouldn't personally mangle the voice that much.. Nice tune.

I agree - I think the vocal is a bit too processed, it reminds me of one of the later Pink Floyd albums, maybe you should give it a try and trust that singing

- But otherwise a really nice track, I really liked that panning "horror"-like sound.

I like this one a lot. Funny though, after Petal's comments, it reminds me of early Pink Floyd. Off the top of my head I think the track was called "Sad Old Days" or something like that.
Well done

BTW 1. you could try making the voice (lovely) more monophonic, to get more impact, (exept for the end part if you want).
I think the voice gets some more impact if you draw it apart a bit from the music.
In the same context: the voice could be a little bit louder in the mix, it's asking for it, and it will make the mix more intimate.
Also, concerning arrangement, after the musical intermezzo, you could let the voice come in again with a short normal 'couplet', en than followed by the current end part, to give it a more finished feeling.
You than can also (sorry for this exertions) lengthen a bit the musical part after the very last voicings.
BTW 2. do you know Peter C. Johnson?
same intimate but non-obtrusive atmosphere
BTW 3. that 'throat' pad/sample, perfect choice!

Thank you for the ideas hubird. I will play about with this when I have rested from it enough to listen again.
I have to say I don't know Peter...

Thanks for your warm comments John, much appreciated.
I'll more than likely leave this alone to concentrate on other projects now that I have the prerequisite number of approvals, comments and critisisms
