STS5000 and timestretch using env3

Hi peoplez!

Does somebody know a 'rule of thumb' on how to make use of this feature of STS5000? I did read, and re-read the manual, but if you look at the end, they give an example (tutorial 3) on this subject, but they don't really explain what it is suppose to mean, it is just written : 'try differents setting and guess what it's doing'. Well, i'm no good at guessing i guess

Maybe someone could explain it a bit better, like, if i wanted to change the groove feeling of a drum loop, like slowing the starting point a bit, and catching up to speed later in the loop so it's stay on beat?

Some screenshot maybe? I'm sure most of the STS5000 user didn't even know we can do this, so i think it would help peoples understand this underrated sampler a bit more!

Ok, since nobody seems to know, i try to explain here a bit. I'll do some screenshot and examples. Cuz, seriously, i think that this feature alone sets sts5000 up there with the top samplers of the world.

Didn't notice this thread until now......
I use the envelopes for all kinds of things, including the timestretching parameters. If things (like a loop) needs to stay in time, I use a controller to record an 'envelope' into the sequencer making it fit by hand.

And you're right, it's a very powerful
feature of this sampler!
