hello .
i'm using vrst 5.1 as a sequencer and i want to us the two midi port, sequencer midi source 1 and two .
i open some vst intrument instrumant and choose theme midi chanell.
does this midi chanell responed to the sequencer midi source 1 or 2 or what ?
2.when i open some of the pulsar sinth and in vst i send them into canel's of sequencer midi source 1 then i open an sts3000 and i want to control all his chanel's through the sequencer midi source 2 in vst and i try to play something in the sts with my keyboard i also hear the synth of the sequencer midi source 1 .
WHy??
that return me to my first question because
when i play from the sequencer midi source 2
i also hear vst instrment .

I don't have VST, but imho the different virtual midi ports 'seq source 1-x' are intended for connecting different applications to the CW environement.

You might split up the midi data stream by using different channels.
Anyway, you have to take care of 'midi through', omni mode, 'receive on all channels' settings in sequencer and synth setups to prevent unwanted transfers.
Midi routing can be annoying though.

you can have more than 1 seq. midi source from cubase to control more than 16 midi channels.
to play vst instruments you must route the tracks to them from the inspector.

cubase tracks can be sent to any loaded midi port or to any loaded vst instrument.
you do this from the inspector.

to play, if your keyboard is connected to the card's midi in, the signal will be present at the pulsar (or luna or...)midi source, and from there it must be connected to the seq. midi destination.
