Yo!

As a true rookie I keep on asking. Soon, the time will come that I can answer all YOUR questions

My old Pulsar and Pulsar 3 directories still exist. Can I just uninstall Pulsar and Pulsar 3? Or does that damage SFP? Could I otherwise just delete the directories? I already copied the device directory.

That brings me to the next problem. In my routing window, I have the icons 'hardware io', 'software io' and 'effects' TWICE. There is only one directory of each. But each directory has a subdirectory 'SFP', 'Luna', 'Pulsar', etc. Should I just keep the SFP directory? And delete the rest?

Well.. that's it for now! This forums rockz. Thanx in advance!1

i'm also a new user but i would advise you to delete everything from the old versions of the software, or use an uninstaller.
then reboot the pc and start reinstalling sfp3.1.

If you do not have an uninstaller, check for creamware and/or sfp entries in regedit before installing sfp3.1 and delete these entries.
(be careful in the registry and do not delete keys if you do not know what you're doing)

I'm no pro cremware user, but maybe this'll help

That's right. You can remove the older directories. Check "Control Panel->Software" first. If you can't uninstall from there, then just delete the old directories. Tip: write your old devices folder to CD, some devices are missing in SFP, you might want to restore some later

One important thing ofcoarse is, that you should use great caution, if the older software version share folders with SFP. Maybe you have changed the Presets folder, so the versions use the same Presets folder? In that case, I would advice you to take backup of you Presets folder - just in case.
