I have always had bad crackles and noise when changing delay frequencies on the fly in SFP, and just assumed it was due to software problems. Does everyone else get the same thing? (I recently got to play with a friend's analog delay, which is very nice for live mangling of sounds...) I have also heard that the delays on Ableton Live are tweakable on the fly without crackles...

I remember seeing a dub style analog delay emulator available as a creamware DSP plug in back several years ago. Has anyone tried such a program? Does it snap crackle and pop with on the fly tweaking?

thanks,

It is normal.
ModIII delays solve this clicks problem.

borg mentioned the polyfractus fx delay (vst) as an alternative once. Also, I think there's some ModDelays like the one from neutron7 who can give some shifting delays without clicks.

Thanks At0mic!

Just another reason why I need to scrape together 100 bucks and upgrade to modIII...
