We quit using Cubase VST (I Hate It!...the best Cubase still runs on the Atari ST!).
I will test Reaktor on Logic Audio and answer you back later...

Hello. Well i run pulsar with asio support to drive Cubase.
I place the direct Sound source to provide reactor (2.0) with audio out. i then start reactor and assign p midi 3 as midi source. i also set the max cpu usage to 50%. then i start cubase and everything works... (if i get cpu overload) i check in the audio settings that the cpu protection box isn't checked.

yes, vst is ok, but probably logic is better... but i guess that reaktor is connected the same way to any of those sequencers

Subject: Can't do that with ASIO
ASIO driver are monoclient! Unlike DirectX audio drivers and some MME drivers, the ASIO driver of a given card can be loaded by only one app at the time. So if VST is on it, Reaktor won't... What a shame isn't?
BTW: WDM driver should improve that so an ASIO 3 should do it as well...
