well,i don't want to say ot even one more time, but i must say it again.if all else fails format the drive and reinstall.sometimes computer data becomes corrupt.if that doesn't work, well maybe there is a hardware problem...tried swithing cables?tried useing canned air to clean the adat ports?
all just random shots in the dark........

thanx for the answers!...i checked all...but nothing helped...looks like a hardwareproblem...as looks like i have to record my stuff in 48khz and then sampling down to 44.1khz...i think i can live with that...thanks again...

Resampling is not a good thing to do.
I suppose you've:
-checked and swapped cables,
-cross-wired to see if it isn't the non-CW ADAT port that flips,
-checked your mixer's spec's
-tried both devices as Sample Rate Master (one at once of course;)
-if the ADAT A keeps refusing, can you sync via SPDIF and then sync the ADAT automatically along?
-...

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you want to use the Pulsar, the Yamaha and the Motu simultaneously there's only one possible setup: the Pulsar must be master and both the other units have to slave to it.
Otherwise you'd have to provide a separate clock via BNC and syncplate.

I think it´s not a setup problem like master/slave settings or cables.
It only happens occasionally with ADAT port A at 44.1 kHz. (see guitarcat´s posting above)

actually I referred to the first post of the topic. Guitarcat tried various setups, but there is only one choice possible for the 3 devices to run together.
Pulsar master and the other devices slave - anything else is bound to fail.
It may not be noticable at once under certain circumstances. From time to time my adat mixer runs quite well without sync. With lot of distorted sound it might be even more difficult to notice

Unfortunetely (if you have the correct setup) it's impossible to decide if the error is caused by hardware failure or by a missing or damaged software module.
Both cases have been reported
cheers, tom

I think one Pulsar II with one A16 (the old one) is a quite easy setup, isn´t it ?
there should be a way to make it work.
Any ideas ?
