It seems quite strange to me that Creamware don't include sequencer specific projects with each new packages - i.e one or two basic projects for each of, say, Cubase, Logic, Sonar, Samplitude - the main sequencers - so that new users can be up and running as easily as possible. I have been in Midi then audio since Creator and KCS on the Atari (in around 1985), and still had to spend time mucking around with SFP to have it working reasonably well in Cubase and Logic. Even Emagic explain the environment better!
I really wonder how total newbies survive - though, I have a friend using Pulsar II, who never bothered to come to grips with Creamware's setup - just uses it as a standard stereo card!
