d*mn, broke my left ankle today, playing badminton.
Meaning my leg in gyps, not able to walk or anything physical else.
Besides, I live on the 4th stock, without elevator, impossible to go out, even in a Bath chair.
Will take 3 weeks in gyps, than another 3 weeks keeping absolutely calm.
And I like sports: badminton, skeelering, fittness, hell!
Sorry for posting this here, completely OT, but I hope I'm excused.
Enjoy walking!

yikes! That means you gotta sit infront of your computer and compose!
Really, though, my sympathies. Long lasting injuries are always a bummer. Hope you get well..... soon? (sounds like it'll be quite a while though)

Injuries sometimes force the mind inward and lead to reflection and great insight - perhaps some good may ome of it. Or you might just be an angry caged bear for two months.

Hubird, just imagine you lived in a poor African country - no chance to get a gyps on your leg! Hope this makes you a bit happier.

So sorry to hear about your misfortune, Hubrid. I hope, at least, you had a good game! But now, time to buckle down and heal while making CW music!

too less milk?? so too little calcium? Sort of makes sense.. though I don't understand a word of German. (IF it's German at all)

as you guys may know, hubird is from holland, so he must speak DUTCH, i guess

and do not forget to drink milk...

you were pretty close.
yeah, dutch is quite similar to german, and it looks a bit like english as well, if you try hard enough.

Hi everybody!
Thank you for all the heartwarming reactions, they made me feel better already!

Some of them very funny, I would have ROFL if I could with my ankle indeed

Algo, what does ASAP mean, I'm sure I have known it, but it disappeared from my mind.

Well in a sense I was lucky, coz the ankle has broken at a 'favourable' place, if I keep up the leg high and don't make wrong moves it will heal completely, as they told me at the hospital.
So Ken, it won't get chronic I guess

At0m, let's change, you my leg, me flying all over the world by plane, haha, are you SO bizzy?

Yeah Sam, believe it or not, but that was exactly what I'm thinking seeing all the misery on television.

Also, saw a documentary about Tsetsjenie (spelling?) and what the Russion soldiers are (forced to) doing to picked up local people.

I would tell immediately *everything* anyone would wanne hear from me if he now would turn my leg axlewise one centimeter to the left or to the right.

Sorry for this thought here, but it comes up several times a day (torture is a unwanted topic in my mind for years, I support Amnesty specially for that).

So I AM happy to be born on a lucky spot on this planet, and I really would like this to be the case for every human and animal beeing in the universe, but this is OT in a OT subject

No Z Station, it was not a nice game, coz it was my very, very first stroke I made that day, haha!
Wham, and that was it.
ROFC, rolling on the floor and crying, haha

There is one lucky circumstance, that will keep me bussy these days:
I just bought me a second Sony monitor (2nd hand), 21", and a ATI Radeon 7000 video card, for dual screen support.

Plus a Wacom Intuos2 tablet, it followed immediately this dual screen thing, including the pen with it's absolute positioning, regardless the fact that the other monitor is 17" (!).

Works flawless, Cubase songs stay arranged over two monitors as saved, just Creamware projects can't be saved that way sofar, don't no why.

Oh wait, I remember something about a special patch, ready for download on CW site.
I will check this immediately after this post, would be great if...

Thanks to Spirit (no bears around tho), Neil, Borg (yes I will drink extra milk, I promiss  ) too.
Planetz will be my doors of perception for a few weeks
