To be honest, I envy you guys who don't seem to care which synthesizer it is to get some good stuff done!

It doesn't seem to matter much if u use the Modular, a real hardware-modular-system or -Absynth!

( I'm gratefull that all these machines come with presets! )

Nice again. Incredible sound, he?

The beginning reminds me of classical brass-swells: but they can't swell into such crazyness than a synthesizer can! Dimensions!

Chris is bored. He needs some producer to call him up and give him a task that challenges his abilities!

It sounds good to me.
It sounds like one of those synths that, once you've tried it, you love it and can't do without it.
Still, they reckon that Absynth make the heart grow fonder

I've got Absynth too, and love it. It is fanatsic for the big pads, atmospherics, mood stuff, textures and also rythmic sequences using its incredible envelope abilities. In these areas it is without doubt my numero uno.

But it does have some weaknesses: many sounds can suffer terrible aliasing in the high range, it is very slow and tedious to program (IMHO), and is really too big to be much use for making the simple stuff.

I liked this track - especially the first 30 seconds.
