Yes i've heard about it.
It is supposedly a problem with some plug-ins . Mostly for Pentium IV but the problem exists on other CPU:s as well.
You can rewrite your plugins to avoid the problem.

I don't have a P4, but I know that the german KEYBOARDS-magazine created a little patch to solve this problem.
If somebody wants, I'd post it.

it sucks for p4 users cuz of the 'bug' in the chip - no prob for me on the trusty old cusl2-c and pIII 933
