I want a midi controller (values 0..127) to
move a parameter in pulsar from let's say 50% to 90% of the full range.
This should be possible using the
"modulation range" pot in the controller settings menu (the one which opens with right click on a fader, then click the light blue rhomboid symbol).
I tried this on several occasions now and it just does not work reliably. After twiddling around for several minutes i usually manage
to get a setting which is more or less what
I want, but it sucks..

I am using Pulsar II v.3.01

Does anybody use the "Modulation Range"
feature?

Has anybody noticed this problem?

thanks a lot for your comments!

respect
Daniel

First thing I'd say is to upgrade to SFP... lots of midi changes between Pulsar3.01 and SFP 3.1c...

That said, I don't really use this feature so someone else may chime in here.

Never found a use for it, or tried it even. I'll give it a go.

Some things are not very clear yet. Ie. is it the knob offset from GUI starting point that is limited w the knob? Or how would it ie. manage the differences between ie. Pan and Volume knobs? Pan reset is 64, Volume reset is 100. So I hope the knob makes for offset. I'll check.
