Several people have asked me if they can use outside sources in this contest.

The answer is N-O NO. The purpose of this contest is to compose with the limited sonic palatte given.

THERE WILL BE FUTURE CONTESTS and you will be able to use vocals, guitars, and such in one of those future one's.

M-kay?

Reminder, today's the last day for voting.

I just listened to all the contest entries - I believe there's seven to choose from - and they're really fun to listen to. You guys rock!

I bumped them all to the top of the list in the music forum.

Vote by private message to algorhythm

I'm making this thread sticky for today.

I would like to propose two things coming from this lovely thread and ideas from Algo:

First, the winner should open a threat in the learning or creativity forum, so to explain its procedure, ideas, etc., on how he build up the chosen song.

Second, the winner should be the next Administrator, deciding which instruments are we going to use for the next contest.

Of course, that doesn’t mean we cannot give our opinions about which could be the next instruments to be used and other details, but it’s nice, I think, that different people rule the process as they want, we perhaps are going to learn much more this way. If somebody wins more than three times, the following being the fourth, loses the right and somebody else becomes the Administrator by Z consent. Is it right for you? What do you think?

I would like to ask to you John, if possible may be, to assign the condition of “Sticky” to the songs posted for the next “Pulsar Song Contest” in the Music area, so everybody can reach them at first when opening the Music window. Then, when we are finished and the result is given, you free them again to the normal condition. I think that would help cos sometimes we may miss listening to some of the songs because they are far down and we don’t realise they were there too. What do you think?

um, it is not about making advertisements for a company, it is about making music with (what most of us think to be) a truly great product.

I suggest that you sell your card and move on, or consult the problem solving forum to resolve any issues with CW cards that you may have . . .

Ah ! So that's what his post was about. A competition to write advertising jingles praising Creamware  Maybe the next competition . . .

If tens of thousands Pulsar Users are not having problems with their systems, don’t you think it may be a problem you have yourself there Chick? I think you have to try to solve your problem first, then you’re going to judge with more objectivity the quality of your product. I would even say, you will not need so, cos you’ll solve your problems and you will start enjoying like we do… Cos Pulsar card and software DO WORK great...
