Is it possible to use the pulsar effects in cubase 5.1 as a send effect without the xtc mode?
And how can it be done?
I know, that it is possible to use cubase effects in pulsar“s mixer but will it function vice versa?

Thanks for your help

go here

note: i didn't wrote that, but it's possible to send stereo signal to pulsar's efects by useing 2 auxes and stereo bus from cubase and 2 asio sends from pulsar.

I meant that I can use for exampel the masterverb from pulsar in cubase as a sendeffect without running xtc mode.

Click on the No FX under the send knob. You see you can assign it to groups. If you route the group to one of the Pulsar buses and put the MasterVerb on that ASIO Source in the project, then it should function like a send effect I guess.

Edit: Maybe you can even assign the send directly to the bus instead of the group. I'm not sure, since I use my Pulsar in XTC mode.

Create a new Audio Object, set it so it use an AUX channel in Logic, not a bus or something else, then set its input as (for example) asio 1-2, output asio 1-2, and set one of logic busses to output to this new audio object.

In SFP, asio 1-2 source -> masterverb -> asio 1-2 dest.

Now you have a bus in logic, that you can use as in xtc, using the send of any channels.

Same goes with any instruments. For example, you could have STS3000 wire this way using all 8 individuals output + the stereo one in a small device that you create in Logic and save it this way for any other project also!
