Hi,

First of all apologies for duplicating the post on Yahoo. Just trying to get the most coverage.

Hope someone can help me. I have recently upgraded Cubase to SX and so need to use windows XP. The version of XP I have is XP Professional with no patches. The version of Pulsar software is the first version of 3.1 (I assume that is 3.1a ???).

Everything installs fine. Pulsar appears as a sound device in the devices list in control panel/system. It says it is working correctly and everything seems OK. Only no sound at all from anything (O/S Cubase whatever). If you look in control panel/sound and audio devices under the audio tab I can select the creamware options but the volume buttons remain greyed out. If I go to the volum tab (the first one) then it just says "No Audio Device". Other than that no more info. Can get sound if I stay in the creamware routing environment (ie route a synth to analog out) but thats no use. This is a totally fresh installation of XP etc... The only additional drivers are the latest nvidia and the latest adaptec ASPI drivers (as recommended).

Thanx for any help ...

Dave.

xp is fine.(check tips and tricks)

do you have an asio source and dest connected in the pulsar environment?

you may want to update to 3.1a or 3.1crc2.(maybe not, as 3.1c will be out in a week or two)
