Subject: midi-notes hanging----!

I have the same problem but I get it with almost every synth but almost never with the sts 4k. It seems to have something to do with the amount of voices I am using . I use an AN1X as a controller maybe it's the problem.

i too have this problem (using pulsar and cakewalk), but i resolve in a very simple way: i simply disconnect the midi cable from midi source and pulsar synth and then reconnect it!
it works also for you?
i don't know the cause!

Subject: it´s not up to my hardware!

hi,
it´s not up to my hardware, because this computer (my older one!) has worked in this configuration as good as a windows system can do... and i know him a lot. it´s since i´m working with the pulsarmidi source as input for the synth... it wasn´t there when i was working through a sequenzer.
it seems to be the pulsarmididevice....

are you working with a sequenzer on your pulsarsystem or are the midiinformations coming from a second system?

thanx

Subject: sounds familiar to me

that sounds familiar to me... i sometimes have these 'MIDI hangings'... one press on the panic button, and it´s gone...
just annoying, when recording, but´s not that often...

...ähm, i have sent you a mail, mr. horrn...

Subject: panic button...?

don´t it stop, when you press the panic button in cakewalk or at the synth from that you are controlling?

Subject: Pulsar/Scope MIDI is suck!

I'm having same problem here very consistantly. The notes are hanging there forever when we don't push reset-button (from seq or MIDI ctrl). Its problem has been there since pulsarV1.0/V1.1 or so, we need to tell Creamware how important it is! No way we can do recording works without the MIDI, right? Again, too simple but most important.

Subject: it´s not up to my hardware!

When I first bought my pulsar I put it in my G4 but that was the worst thing I could have ever done all I got was error type 1 nearly every time I tried to start logic and all these other wierd problems. I tried to take my card back to the shop but could not get an exchange on another card because I couldn't unregister pulsar so I had to buy another card for my G4 and build a PC for pulsar. So now I sequence and record on the mac but know it takes about 5 times to record a song because the notes hang and even then I am choping up those 5 takes to make 1 song

Subject: Hanging

I get this all the time as well, worse on some devices than others. I've started several posts about appealing for some sort of response from CW, but they say nothing. Pity.

Cheers,
Spirit
