Hello everybody,
i found a very annoying bug(at least for me) using built in compressors on the stm 2448 mixer(propack):when i want to trigger a built in compressor on stm 2448 using SIDECHAIN, it let me choose a source(let's say a kik in cubase coming from asio source 1L)and it works perfectly ,but if i want to change this source to another one (let's say asio source 2R or whaterver other available source) it doesn't allow me anymore and it displays an error message : "cannot make connection pads...asio source.. and sidechain input aren't compatible and no appropriate converter is available"
When i use a standalone compressor everything is ok .
Any help will be useful.
Thanks
lore

I had a similar problem but on a pc about not being able to make connections. I finally figured out the connections were already made but for some reason became invisible. In my project I could not eliminate this problem and just live with it.

I had this problem also, wound up having to 'replace' the 2448 with another 2448 with reset settings in order to clear this problem out. Unfortunately, selecting 'none' in the sidechain doesn't seem to select it, nor does it allow 'none' to become selected - it stays on the last connected port. Fortunately we can save each channel's presets. That reminds me- I didn't try loading another preset into a channel that had a buggy compressor sidechain input though, I'll try that next time I have this come up.

SC is not saved or recalled in preset. In the SC right-click menu, just select the one that was selected already to clear the SC connection. Then select your new SC input.
