This has probably been addressed but just don't have much time to do some searching...
I just got my hands on Cubase SX (Xgrade) and judging by my very early use, it sure sounds pretty darned good! It seem a lot more easier than Logic's more complex ergonomic design.
My question lies to the sample rate/resolution on XP. I've read somewhere that XP cannot perform 24bit wavs? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Checking out Pulsar's properties, on the WAV Setup section, the preferred bit depth is only given at 16; both the 24 and 32 are greyed out.
Also, Cubase's ASIO Multimedia Setup only runs on 16bit in/out.
While trying out the demo, Cubase is piped through the WAV module - not the ASIO 24.
I'll dig in the manual a bit more before I hit the sack but if you've got any inputs, I'd much obliged!
Thanks!
