[UPDATE]:
There's a small bug in the 3.1 version of 4080L, that sometimes causes too much DSP use.
There's an updated version available at http://www.sonictimeworks.com/updates.html

Did anybody notice that the 4080L III has lost its quality?
I updated my old 4080L to run on SFP 1.3 with WinXP.

For me it sounds shattering and has lost its density. Any known bugs?

How did you update your old 4080L?

Was it a simple fix???

I just downloaded the update from the Timeworks website and copied the files into the SFP folder, because in the package there is no "setup.exe" or something like that.

My old setup version from CD won't start within WinXP anymore.

My old setup version from CD won't start within WinXP anymore.

Sure it will... right click, properties, compatibility, run as Win98/ME. Then the old version installs fine. But there are some minor things which v3 are supposed to fix...

I know it's much to ask but would there be a larger graphics version of VU's or even an LED In/Out version?
Thx

The exsisting devices won't get any more new features, unless a LOT of people express interrest in a "paid-for" upgrade.
The new devices will have all new meters, both vu's and peakmeters. (See screenshot of SharcOne on http://www.d-media.dk)

Yes,I would be happy for upgrade.
Seeing as you've given this fix for free.
I would like as said, ability to see things in L.E.D mode so I can see in/out's for levels like compressor. These are quality plugins I would like to see last.
Thx!

Midi control doesn't work when using the 4080L in the MultiFX rack. I can't get the knobs to 'learn' the value of incoming cc signals.
Is this deliberate?

Cheers,
Ben

The sound of the new 4080L in this update has changed I'm afraid at least here for the worst. there is no density in the ER , and clearly the nice sound the plugin had is now replaced...
Anyone has any idea what was done in the algs ? why was it changed at all?

Hi, Are you sure you are using the 3.1b
TimeworksIII reverb, cause I did a heap of A/B tests with the original rev and I found no difference at all. I do agree that the 3.1 ver reverb did sound odd compared to the original one

davo is right, make sure you're using the 3.1b version, since both 3.1 and 3.1a has some strange bugs.
There's no difference in sound between 3.1b and the original version 1 4080L.
